Taking place today on the longest day of the year, Clean Air Day is dedicated to raising awareness about air pollution and poor air quality. As a longstanding advocate of clean indoor air, CFP wholly supports the campaign.
The campaign is co-ordinated by Global Action Plan and encourages people to take steps to reduce air pollution.
This year, Clean Air Day is offering advice and resources to help people reduce their air pollution and supporters are all getting on board for this worthy cause; from free Metrolink journeys, to walking and cycling to school schemes, the national awareness day is encouraging us to take little steps that can make a big difference.
So, why is clean air so important?
- Research suggests that indoor air can be up to five times more polluted than outdoor air. With most of us spending more than 90% of our time indoors, it’s crucial that we improve the quality of our indoor air.
- Not only does air pollution negatively impact the environment, it also has a detrimental effect on our health. Air pollution increases the risk of serious illness and can make existing respiratory disorders worse. The implications for children’s health can be much worse.
CFP – A champion of excellent Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)
CFP has long championed the benefits of improving IAQ and for over 20 years has helped businesses provide clean, high quality indoor air across their sites. Our solutions are designed to effectively remove polluted particles from the air, leaving behind high quality, clean air. With high filtration performance, our filters remove polluted particles from the air from ePM10 through to ePM1 particles. Tested according to ISO 16890 standards, these solutions will deliver optimum levels of filtration achieving the highest possible indoor air quality for your business.
At CFP, we work closely with our clients to deliver an unrivalled Professional Filter Management service, giving businesses the confidence that the monitoring and maintenance of their air filters is taken care of by an expert team with years’ of experience behind them.
Earlier this year we launched our supply and fit real-time filter management portal, a dynamic and innovative online hub that enables our customers to have complete transparency in – and proactive management of – air filters across multiple sites.
The Portal further enhances the synergy between CFP and all of our customers, streamlining dataflow and providing real-time information they need, when they need it. With added functionality being deployed this year, such as full site history and product delivery information, CFP is giving our customers a Clean Air Day all year round.
