Fiona Broadbent has been an integral part of the CFP team since she started with us back in 2010. For just over seven years, she has positioned herself as a capable and dependable colleague, as well as becoming an intrinsic part of our Professional Filter Management service for many of our core customers.
At the end of September, Fiona will be bidding us farewell as she embarks on a new adventure in Devon.
We sat down with Fiona to look ahead at her plans and also discuss her best bits here at CFP.
Where are you off to?
I’m moving to Sidmouth, which is in South Devon. The area is close to my heart as I used to dive around the coast and have always loved Devon and Cornwall. It’s been a long-time ambition of mine to move down there one day, and now I finally have the opportunity to.
What are your plans when you get to Sidmouth?
After I’ve settled in my new home and found a permanent role, I’m hoping to spend my free time getting to know the area and the people. I’m looking forward to the slower pace of life and I’m also hoping to take up some volunteering, too.
I currently volunteer in Manchester for The Donkey Sanctuary every Sunday, which provides donkey-based therapies for children with additional needs. They have several working farms near to where I’ll be relocating, so fingers crossed I can help out there at some stage in the near future.
What will you miss the most about CFP?
All of it! Genuinely, I really love my job here and it’s with great sadness that I am leaving but unfortunately I can’t be in two places at once!
The CFP team have always worked incredibly well together and supported each other in our roles.
Then of course there are the customers, many of which I have built up long-lasting professional relationships with over the years. I’ll very much miss speaking with them over the phone and providing a service that truly benefits them and their business.
I am sure that I’ll be in touch though and I’d like to hopefully welcome my friends and colleagues to visit me for some traditional Devon cream tea in the near future.
