How do bag filters work?

Fitted so the pockets stand vertically ensures that the pockets remain open in the filter system enables maximum dust holding capacity. The F7 bag filter also acts as a prefiltration system precluding the use of high efficiency filters such as HEPA filters.

What are bag filters used for?

The fine filtration of the F7 bag filter is suitable heating, ventilation and air conditioning devices and plants. As a result of it’s fine filtration, the F7 bag filter is ideal for a variety of industry environments including offices, hospitals, fine-mechanical applications and the food industry.

What are they made from?

Our F7 bag filters are created with either a metal or plastic frame, with the optional addition of a foamed hygiene-gasket. The bag itself is made from synthetic materials such as nylon, polypropylene, polyester and progressive microfiber. Our F7 bag filters are available in a range of standard and bespoke sizes to help you find the perfect fit for your air filtration system.

What does F7 mean when we’re talking about bag filters?

The ‘F’ refers to the fine filtration created by the filters. The 7 relates to the size of particle the filter can block.
