CFPDirect supply Carbon Cells for either new or existing installations, they may be fitted in 'vee formation' within bespoke housings. Alternatively we supply a range of disposable Carbon filters designed for specific air volumes which will effectively remove specific contaminants. filter configurations can be designed and built to accommodate any air volumes.

Applications include: removal of petrol and diesel fumes, protection of valuable artifacts in museums and art galleries where the removal of Sulpher Dioxide is required and finally, odour removal in kitchen
extract systems

A standard 'extract' housing with three stage filtration.

  • A primary 'G2' grade steel washable filter to remove large particulate matter and grease.
  • A second stage CFPDirect Dura Pleat Filter for the removal of medium contamination.
  • A final stage carbon filter to remove odours. These range
    between 150mm 60 600mm deep dependant on air volume.

CFPDirect Carbon Cells are coconut based' activated carbon which is bonded together to form a rigid filter. A light duty scrim is added to the 'clean' side and the assembly housed in a steel surround case.

CFPDirect Bonded Carbon Cells will not 'settle' - as can be experienced with 'loose-fill' carbons. 'Settling' results in air bypass which leaves the filter ineffective. loose fill carbons may require a Dura Pleat Panel to be installed after the carbon installation in order to deal with 'carry over'. The bonded construction eliminates this requirement.

NOTE: To achieve optimum life performance carbon filters must be protected from high loading of solid air borne matter in order to remain effective and provide and acceptable life. A minimum filter grade of
G4 should be considered.

CFPDirect's Carbon Bags & Pleated Panels offer odour absorption plus efficient dust and dirt removal which combine to give ideal filtration properties.

CFPDirect's Carbon Impregnated Bags & Panel Filters are intended as
a direct replacement for existing Bag & Panel Filters where there is a requirement for a reduction in the unpleasant odours by food preparation, vehicle exhausts, cigarette smoke & other unpleasant odours.
